Drillog PDL is one stop shop for all your MWD and LWD services. This we do using Sperry Drilling Services’ range of tool like DGR- Dual gamma ray EWR P4- Electromagnetic wave Resistivity tool, PWD- Pressure While Drilling Tool, Neutron/Density Tool. And others using positive mud pulse telemetry.
Sperry Drilling services is a industry leader in providing solutions for drilling wells safe, faster and more accurately. We optimize drilling efficiency through increasing rate of penetration and lowering non-productive time. We place wells precisely to maximize reservoir drainage. Real-time operations are core to our delivery - from remotely operating rigs to consultant solutions.
Our services include the following:- Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Density and Neutron measurement (Triple Combo LWD), PWD, BAT, sonic, azimuthal resistivity and formation pressure while drilling, Well Path Design, Multilateral Well Designs, Survey Calculation, Bottom Hole Assembly Analysis, Anti-collision Report and Analysis, Torque and Drag Analysis and Behavioral Analysis, Directional Drilling, Rotary Steerable System, Bore Hole Surveys, Real Time at-bit inclination & gamma;early warning of trajectory and formation change Complex geosteering; without BHA trips or reprogramming.
Point the bit technology; fine control of direction & build rate Smooth borehole curvature; reducing drilling risk & easing casing and completions, Supply of Heavy Duty Drilling Rig capable of drilling, completion, testing, temporary abandonment and intervention work in Land Drilling operations. The maximum well depth is 20,000 ft. Maximum mud weight is 18 ppg.
The economics behind geosteering or high-cost drilling can cost-justify using logging-while-drilling (LWD) sensors to acquire data in real time. Drillog Petro-Dynamics ltd uses LWD sensors to help direct high-angle and horizontal drilling, and to ensure efficient use of expensive rig time.
Sperry Drilling services leads the industry with the largest and most robust high pressure, high temperature offering and invests in significant research and development in HP/HT technology. In HP or HT wells, equipment is required to withstand temperatures higher than 300°F/149°C and pressures above 18,000 psi/124 MPas. Today, the majority of Sperry Drilling's measurement/logging-while-drilling (M/LWD) tools are rated to 347°F/175°C and 25,000 psi/172 MPas.
Sperry now offers the Quasar Pulse M/LWD service rated to 200C (392°F) 25,000 psi (175 MPas), making it possible to operate reliably at higher temperatures than ever before and gaining access to reservoirs that were previously uneconomical. Drillog Petro-Dynamics utilizes measurement-while-drilling (MWD) surveying technology to determine the well path and its position in three-dimensional space. MWD is a valuable tool that can establish true vertical depth, bottom-hole location, and orientation of directional drilling systems.
A range of measurements of the drillstring, BHA and wellbore properties are available to ensure the drilling is occurring according to plan and to identify conditions that could lead to equipment damage or other non-productive time events.

Wellbore surveys provide definitive data that depict the position of a borehole or well path in three-dimensional space. Sperry Drilling services' wellbore surveying service delivers a comprehensive well positioning approach, generating the necessary risk versus reward analysis and survey program. Sperry can also help ensure survey executions per expectations and provide a one-stop shop for well position information.
- Early analysis of well position requirements
- Evaluation of risk versus reward and creation of a survey program
- Help ensure wellbore construction surveys meet operator and well position expectations
- Capture of lessons learned regarding wellbore placement
- Load wellbore data into definitive database
PDL provides a well bore hole survey services for oil and gas industries, with North Seeking Gyro and Electromagnetic Multi shot. The North Seeking Gyro operates in two modes, • Multi shot survey for well bore positioning • Single shot for setting of whip stock and orientation purposes. Electromagnetic Multi Shot (EMMS) Survey, runs in two modes, either as multi shot or single shot with slick line or drop.
Drillog PetroDynamics Limited has the capabilities to carry out the following directional drilling services; Extended reach wells, Short radius horizontal wells, 3-Dimensional-Directional wells, Horizontal wells ,Multi-lateral wells, Cased & Open holes Sidetracks, Jetting/Nudging
Sperry's Directional Drilling services have earned a worldwide reputation for providing reliable and cost-effective solutions. Our comprehensive integration of tools, processes and personnel delivers drilling performance with faster rates of penetration, superior hole quality and precise wellbore placement. We offer a variety of directional drilling services for all applications - from land and shallow water environments to extended-reach offshore drilling.
A number of sensors delivering information from both downhole and the surface are used to measure the real-time performance of drilling operations. For example, the DrillDOC® drilling downhole optimization collar tool provides real-time measurements of weight, torque and bending on bit to characterize the transfer of energy from surface to the bit. These measurements help optimize drilling parameters to maximize performance and minimize wasted energy transfer and vibration. The DrillDOC tool contains multiple sensors to provide the weight, torque and bending moment values and has a vibration sensor that delivers a full suite of vibration measurements. This integration ensures that the full movement of the BHA is measured through all aspects of the drilling process.
Our in-house capabilities make it easy to service our Mud Motors efficiently and keep them running like new. In other to service our customers better, we give all motors the same attention. It doesn’t matter if a motor has been down hole for five minutes or 150 hours. Each time our motors return from the field, they are pulled apart, fully inspected and serviced. We believe they deserve it because they are tough performers. As a result of our meticulous maintenance practice and genuine attention to details, Drillog PDL has earned a reputation for having extremely reliable Mud Motors with unmatched performance down hole.
This was achieved with our Mud Motors that are specifically designed to accommodate the increase load associated with the newer higher performance Power Section (ERT, HARD RUBBER etc) which have advantage over previous generations of drilling Mud Motors. In addition, our motor fleet is also monitored through our continuous improvement process (CIP) which allows us to track individual component life history. This process provides us the ability to predict component life cycles and implement design modifications for continuous improvement and reliability. Finally, we promise to exceed our customers expectation with our new fleet of High performance NOV Motors
